It has been a solid month since we have stepped foot into Flash Nightclub in DC, which we tend to call our second home. Flash is one of the only places in DC that does not disappoint, so much that there is a hashtag used on Instagram (#FlashRollCall ) for lovers of techno in the DC area.
With SXMUSIC Festival, Miami Music Week, Persian New Year, and a full week of decompressing, we decided it’s time to get back into it and go see Jennifer Cardini at Flash. This was our first time seeing her and she definitely blew our mind. She came on right on time, at 1:30 AM and as soon as she was on, there was a MASSIVE drop that left the crowd in awe. I saw at least 5 people mouth “whoah” and tons of smiling, happy faces around me. The entire club was dancing, from the bartenders to the security. Above the crowd was Flash’s signature LED lit panels, and spotlights above the artist booth that thumped to every beat that was playing. Our weekend will start on Thursday this week thanks to Flash’s next event: Pan-Pot and Black Coffee, and then Friday for Atish and Cassy.
