Just upstairs next to Bergerac in San Francisco, there is a booming nightclub called Audio that was created by sound aficionados. This discotech has a hypnotizing infinity tunnel you can get lost in, a wall of flashy LED lights that change color and synchronize with every beat, and a strong emphasis on their tactically positioned Funktion One sound system. Audio has a few stairs that lead down to a mid-sized sunken seven-layer dance floor, abundant air circulation with a cool breeze, bars on both sides of the dance floor, an approachable bar staff, and a DJ booth in the front and center of it all.
On Friday August 12, right before the release of their debut album on Anjunadeep, Cubicolor presented ‘BRAINSUGAR’, their considerable summer tour of the United States. Straight from Amsterdam, emotional, and deep sounds were offered all evening long, crystal clear without any distortion. Cubicolor drove sounds that induced distinct passionate states, and physical feelings.
