SXM Festival 2017 to Celebrate 2nd Anniversary in Saint Martin Next Month

“At SXM Festival we value quality and intimacy. Quality of music and experience. Intimacy with some of the most wonderful, enlightened, party people on the planet. Add to that the breathtaking beauty of Saint Martin and it’s a powerful mix. We have already sold tickets in North and South America, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia. And we can’t wait to welcome our global family to this magical island. In year two we have also redoubled our efforts to bring the very best talent in underground electronic music to SXM, with every carefully curated artist having their own sonic identity. Improving on last year’s line-up has been a challenge because we respect the musical story so much. But as we announce Phase 2, we feel like we’ve done it for 2017 – and this story should win a Pulitzer prize.” – SXM Festival Founder Julian Prince

Last year some of our favorite artists ventured out to an exquisite island in the Caribbean for SXM Festival, with a few thousand attendees. SXM Festival 2016 concluded the first edition of its 5-day musical escapade and it was an experience like no other. It was a magical, musical journey that I would describe as heavenly. SXM Festival is back for the second year on March 15-19, 2017 and we can’t wait to go back. Located in the gorgeous island of Saint Marten, the festival will feature many different artists such as Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Francesca Lombardo, Yokoo, M.A.N.D.Y., Tara Brooks, Nina Kraviz, Jamie Jones, Thugfucker, and our personal favorites Behrouz, Richie Hawtin, and Ricardo Villalobos playing in many different sites across the island 24/7. Headliner Bob Moses was recently nominated for “The JUNO Awards Best Electronic Album of the Year!”. We look forward to celebrating on the island with them. Full lineup details can be found here.

The festival was so awesome last year and this year will be even better since it will be the second iteration of it, and refined. Thank you SXM for providing countless and everlasting memories for myself and all the others who got to experience it last year, and we look forward to a kick ass festival next month on the island!
