Where are my keys?

Where Are My Keys? This Weekend in Miami

On Sunday, April 16, music aficionados will have the chance to gather around in an undiscovered corner of old Miami, while savoring the sounds of some amazing artists.  For 12 hours, several artists will take guests on a musical journey, with no set restrictions – just a sweeping dance floor with the ocean as a backdrop. The lineup for this event will have party-goers swaying all day into the late hours of the evening.

We are looking forward to experiencing the magic at Virginia Key Beach Park on 04/16 in Miami with DJ Tennis and Rebelledo at 2 pm, on a beautiful spring day over a 12 hour stretch. What began as a two day event at Art Basel is now returning for a magical journey this weekend. The full lineup consists of Rebelledo, Rex Axes, David Vunk, Will Renaurt, and Ataxia. Two of our favorite artists are on this lineup, which is often difficult to come by believe it or not, as Techno has vastly diversified with so many artists breaking into the circuit. At “Where Are My Keys” we look forward to being time warped with the Life and Death Records Label boss himself, DJ Tennis and the Mayan Warrior musical concept curator, Rebolledo. We always love the energy Tennis brings to the decks, as he always embodies the energy behind his label, with his somewhat downbeat tracks in the middle of pop and disco sounds, reminiscent of the Italian cosmic heritage, plunging you right back into the times. Now let’s add Rebolledo to this lineup, alongside a beautiful beach along the Miami waters on a beautiful island location, with dreamy vibes all around.

Techno and Pizza first discovered the true talent of Rebolledo in St Maarten at the SXM Festival at Tantra Nightclub, as he was tag teaming with Ellum records label boss Maceo Plex. This was particularly exciting for us, as we had been hearing and feeling all of the energy around the Mayan Warrior projects out of Mexico, not to mention the lucid, dreamy, Mayan Warrior Burning Man sets. We had were lucky to be there for the tag team between Life and Death emperor DJ Tennis and Rebolledo himself. The vibes were thick, as every record he brought in entranced the audience, with his deep synthy, often spooky, psychedelic beats with distance vocal chants reminiscent of listening to music in the deep Mayan ruins. One thing was certain, we were entranced by Rebolledo’s set. No wonder our excitement is fizzing over to see him and Tennis and massage our visual and auditory senses, with influences to the deep and ancient sources.

And who’s better hands to be in, than our dear friends at Electric Pickle. If anyone has experienced the Art Basel parties they threw, you know how magical this event is, and why so much vibrating energy around this event that always brings in the lovely souls, the true music heads, the lovers, the passionistas, leaving the “who are you and what do you do?” attitude at the door. See you on the beach this weekend, and please join us for a slice.

Ciao,
