Its that time of year again, where we get to drift away and float into the clouds. The day we regularly think about and dream about, the day we get plunged into the world of Lee Burridge.
This Sunday September 17th marks the season closing party, All Day I Dream, bringing with it all the magic, atmosphere, trippy melodies and rhythmic acid-like beauty as we join together again at the Brooklyn Mirage.
Before we move on, just a quick word about the Brooklyn Mirage- it’s no further away than 10 minutes from where the first All Day I Dream party was started in 2011 between Lee and Matthew Dekay. It’s partially why the Brooklyn ADID parties hold such a special place in our hearts, not to mention the hearts of our musical navigators, our vibe creators, our soul selectors: Lee Burridge, Lost Dessert, and Oona Dahl.
We’re super excited for Oona Dahl’s set and while Lee has an incredible taste for talent, he left us hungry for more after the last time we saw Oona. Let me paint a picture for you: Its 7 AM, we’ve been partying for 3 days straight at the Los Coytes Reservation Desert Hearts party, stumble out of our tent to this blue-haired angelic goddess like princess, as though she just got lasered down from her merkaba to bliss us with her organic sounds that brought smiles to all. This feeling is the exact feeling that comes to mind when we think about ADID this weekend.
Then we have Lost Desert, the guys who have been bringing their musical vision to every corner of the earth from Eliat, Israel to Praia Brava and to our Brooklyn Mirage corner. What’s super exciting about Lost Desert is that they’re going to be blessing us and giving us a first hand sound bath with exclusives from Tail and Tone, the musical imprint between Lee and Hoj, where it’s all about the story and the groove.
Gather around friends, it’s time to make that dreamy pilgrimage to the mirage. We can’t wait to get lost with you all!
