Is Summer Really Over?

Last week Techno and Pizza ventured out to Brooklyn for the All Day I Dream summer closing party. This was a special event because it was not only a sign that marks the end of summer, it took place in the city that it all began. Over the next few hours, the people, the energy and the music we encountered completely washed a cast of beautiful positivity over us. Nobody does it like All Day I Dream! One thing you’ll notice at All Day I Dream events is that everyone’s friendly, and very creative. Intricate costumes, cool sunglasses, and funky outfits are common sights at music festivals, but the All Day I Dream crowd definitely goes the extra mile.

Oona Dahl started the day off with some heavy bass tunes that rocked the crowd and got the groove started. Our personal favorite set of the day was from Lost Desert. Lost Desert was sick and playing melodic tracks that moved us deep inside. Our souls were floating in the clouds as he transitioned smoothly into the global tribal beats that gave us a visual tour of the world. The event was at the Brooklyn Mirage, which has finally became an official world-class, super club, unlike any venue in the world. It’s always refreshing to see how involved Lee Burridge is with his fans. Not only are ADID artists always approachable, but they are very hands-on in the event itself. We didn’t hold back praising Lee for his awesome set when we bumped into him around the Mirage.

Though there was so much to navigate and explore around the Brooklyn Mirage, it was difficult to take a breather from the dance floor with such an awesome lineup of great talent. Though all the artists are under the record’s umbrella, none of the tracks were repeated, and none of the sets sounded the same, and that’s what we love about All Day I Dream events. Until next year Brooklyn!
