Pizza and salad go together like peanut butter and jelly. Any pizza joint (unless it’s after hours) that does not acknowledge that or at least have the option to order a salad, is not legit in our book. Mod Pizza is fresh, and quick, with a large variety of toppings, and you can customize your pizza any which way you want.
Yesterday we checked out Mod Pizza in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for a quick, pit stop. Let’s start with the basics. The pizzas are personal sized, there are several signature pies, or you can create your own unique circular dough concoction. If you are dieting and prefer a salad instead, you can order a pizza salad, but salad is also offered as a side. Mod Pizza surpassed our expectations with their thin and crispy crust, and the pies being just the right size. The pizza was flavorful, with melty cheesy, and a vibrant tomato sauce. The sauce to cheese ratio was just right, and the crust was nice and chewy. We will definitely be back to Mod Pizza for a quick meal.
