Nowadays, trance-inspired tracks in techno have become more mainstream with artists such as Tale of Us and Solomun taking center stage. Solomun and Tale of Us have garnered millions of worldwide audiences thanks to their dark emotive techno that has these very components.
Tale of Us and Solomun may still be a bit foreign to main stage audiences, however in the underground dance music scene; they are highly sought after. Seeing the two acts in Tulum at Zamna for the event dubbed Solomun +1, it was evident that they have a large following. Tulum is one of the most exotic and magical destinations in the world. Our group of 16 could not wait to immerse ourselves in the sensory experience at Zamna, which is also one of the most popular spots in Tulum. Thanks to the great weather, the day started off on a high note.
Zamna Tulum has over the years become the place to go if you are looking for a unique and exotic experience. This jungle house club did an excellent job of pairing production with sound quality, which made the event all the more fascinating and enjoyable. To host such desirable talents as Solomun and Tale of Us was no easy feat, and the experience was crafted with the highest standard in mind. They provided a great atmosphere and sanctuary where everyone present was gathered with one thing in mind; the need to be on the dance floor.
Solomum did a splendid job treating the dance floor to a 12-hour musical marathon as he delivered an unparalleled line up of massive hit after hit. Very distinct in his approach and style, his selections were equally transformative and melancholic, which delivered a dance floor resurgence of epic proportions. Never one to disappoint, Solumun’s perfect balance of timeless music lifted the atmosphere higher and higher with every new selection. Switching things up, Tale of Us, the musical partnership made up of Karm and Matteo have progressed significantly in the last few years in the electronic music circles mesmerized with their singular and rich emotive sound. Tale of Us provided a rigorous selection and the duo’s attention to detail and enduring quality was evident as the sounds seamlessly flowed into one another maintaining the importance of authentic deliverance throughout their set.
Both Tale of us and Solomun seemed to have a sincere connection with the audience and each delivered a spectacular range of sounds supplying awe and revelry on multiple levels at Zamna Tulum. It was a truly wonderful night hosted by an amazing trio. See you at next years party!
