For many of us, spring and summer are notable seasons, as many outdoor concerts, festivals, and events happen at that time. But in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, these events are in peril, as physical distancing and self-quarantining make performing live music and attending live events unlikely this year.
Several weeks ago the Burning Man Project announced that the annual Nevada event, originally set for August 30th to September 7th 2020, will physically be cancelled. But like so many other things in our lives these days, Burning Man is moving into the virtual realm with events like Remote Burn, HomeBurn, and the Multiverse.
This weekend, worldwide theme camps will curate multiple rooms of live-streamed events, including music, performance arts, talks, and workshops for Remote Burn. Communities like Bubbles and Bass, Orgy Dome, Alborz, Project Heart, and more will have a virtual space to share with you in the interwebs.
